PSALM 91
Secret Place (vs 1-4)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
”Iye amene akhala pansi m'ngaka yake ya Wam'mwambamwamba
adzagonera mu mthunzi wa Wamphamvuyonse.“
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
”Ndidzati kwa Yehova, Pothawirapo panga ndi linga langa; Mulungu
wanga, amene ndimkhulupirira.“
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
”Pakuti adzakuonjola kumsampha wa msodzi, kumliri wosakaza.“
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
”Adzakufungatira ndi nthenga zake, ndipo udzathawira kunsi kwa
mapiko ake; choonadi chake ndicho chikopa chotchinjiriza.“
Not Afraid (vs 5- 7)
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
”Sudzaopa choopsa cha usiku, kapena muvi wopita usana;“
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
”kapena mliri woyenda mumdima, kapena chionongeko chakuthera usana.“
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
”Pambali pako padzagwa chikwi, ndi zikwi khumi pa dzanja lamanja lako; sichidzakuyandikiza iwe.“
No Evil (vs 8-10)
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
”Koma udzapenya ndi maso ako, nudzaona kubwezera chilango oipa.“
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most
High, thy habitation;
”Popeza udati, Inu Yehova, ndinu pothawirapo panga! Udaika Wam'mwambamwamba chokhalamo chako;“
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
”palibe choipa chidzakugwera, ndipo cholanga sichidzayandikiza
hema wako.“
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
”Pakuti adzalamulira angelo ake za iwe, akusunge m'njira zako zonse.“
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
”Adzakunyamula pa manja ao, ungagunde phazi lako pamwala.“13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
”Udzaponda mkango ndi mphiri; udzapondereza msona wa mkango
ndi chinjoka.“
I will Answer
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
”Popeza andikondadi ndidzampulumutsa; ndidzamkweza
m'mwamba, popeza adziwa dzina langa.“
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
”Adzandifuulira Ine ndipo ndidzamyankha; kunsautso ndidzakhala
naye pamodzi; ndidzamlanditsa, ndi kumchitira ulemu.“
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation
”Ndidzamkhutitsa ndi masiku ambiri, ndi kumuonetsera
chipulumutso changa.“

תהלים צא:1 תנ״ך ומודרני
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Angels (vs 11-12)

”כּ ִ֣י מ ַ ֭ לְאָכָיו יְצַוֶּה־לּ ָ֑ךְ לִ֝ שְׁ מָ רְ ךָ֗ בְּכָל־דְּ רָ כֶ ֽיךָ׃“

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
”עַל־כַּפּ ַ ֥יִם יִשָּׂ א ֑ וּנְךָ פֶּן־תִּ גּ ֹ ֖ ף בָּא ֶ֣ בֶן ר ַ גְל ֶ ֽךָ׃“
תהלים צא:12 תנ״ך ומודרני13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
”עַל־שׁ ַ֣ חַל וָפ ֶ֣ת ֶ ן תִּ ד ְ ר ֹ ֑ ךְ תִּ ר ְ מ ֹ ֖ ס כְּפ ִ֣יר וְת ַ נִּ ֽ ין׃“

I Will Answer ( vs 14-16)

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
”יִק ְ ר ָ א ֵ ֨ נִי ׀ ו ְ ֽא ֶ עֱנֵ ֗ הוּ עִמּ ֽ וֹ־אָנ ֹ כ ִ֥י בְצָר ָ֑ ה א ֲ ֝ חַלְּצֵ֗ הוּ וַ ֽאֲ כַבְּדֵ ֽהוּ׃“
תהלים צא:15 תנ״ך ומודרני
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation
